Now the question is should this yellow journalism accepted these touts must be acceptable as "Journalist" ..... ???

Murad Saeed had not NO right to complain the relevant authorities ..... ????

And what is wrong in this they were arrested legally and presented before the court of magistrate from there these filthy characters got their bail granted under law ....

Do what was wrong in all of this episode ????

Are these journalists above law and are holy highness .... ????

It is not a coincidence that these Mir brothers are always involved in anti-state activities. It is also not a coincidence that they happen to be named Mir. Mir Jafar is a fitting name for this clan.

This constant harassment of journalists needs to stop, the world is keenly observing us and incidents like these need to be curtailed. A lot of journalists will agree to the observation(Tweet) below.

The disappearance of two reputed journalists today is another blot on this hybrid regime. At a time when the country is in the eye of a gathering storm at home and in the region, why are we recklessly bent on portraying ourselves as a rogue regime?
NAJAM SETHI
You posted their fake news and now they are arrested for spreading fake news. So please spare me the tears every country has their rules and if you spread fake news in first world (even most of second world) countries you pay the price but in Pakistan if you a journo you think you can get away with anything be it illegal.

And please dont quote lifafas here. They were arrested not kidnapped or disappeared.
These kinds of tactics were not even employed by the last Military regime we had. The last incident concerning a journalist, Asad Toor, where our nationalist lot was waiting for him to be exposed because they called it a drama, were all humiliated. It's been month and his 'drama' has still not been exposed.

Or kitna expose karo ge bahi 😏 yeh lifafe to sab pehle ee nange hain. Ab jab action lia ja raha he to sabke r*ndi rone shuru 😄

Btw jab b tareekh ati he ese stunt hote rehte hain lifafo ki taraf se btw if asad toor had used language he used for a women against a member of your family you wouldn't be calling him a jurno but samj sakte hain dusro ki maa behn ki izzat se biased logo ko koi faraq nai parta.

If their is any proof / evidence of breaking the law, then any agency, be it civil or military, shouldn't SHY away from declaring in public, the arresting of the suspects / criminals.

The trend of software updates are flawed because criminals / suspects should be prosecuted in public if they have committed a crime.

Only when you are going to follow the law, and air live criminal proceedings from the court room, only then will the public believe in the sanctity of the rule of law

Public hearings / recorded / live proceedings are held in the US, then why not Pakistan?

Is Pakistan following LAW OF THE JUNGLE?
If you are Law Enforcement Agency and you send out a notice to someone and they do not turn up what are you supposed to do ?

Because in countries where this happens people are arrested. Law of Jungle there as well innit ?
Bro it's on both sides, the state is like a mother, should be fair to all of its children.
If somone has spread fake news regardless of sides they should be arrested and if you feel violated please submit a complaint against the so called "other side"

Here's your answer. Still waiting for Asad Toor to be exposed.
This has nothing to do with Asad Toor this is a lifafa spreading fake news being arrested that was an incident which happened before he had a court date.

As feared the regular issue of journalists in Pakistan is making Global headlines. The Indians are making the most of it and so is the West.

Do we give a flying f*ck ? No.

Indian media has already nickname of Godi media for fake news and is already exposed by EuDisInfoLab.

US has was exposed too by SMQ (deep pockets)

Those who live in UK also know how biased British media is especially against Muslims.

So please stop this BS of "free media" BS every media house has is own agenda. And unfortunately in Pakistan almost all of them are running foreign agenda against the people of Pakistan and those who work for them are mostly pets of politicians too jaha se lifafa mila uski boli shuru.

Even in his apology Mir accepted he took money to "run a campaign" ab to samj jao bhole logo.

Shafqat was a great roaster of Imran

Maybe that has something to do with it, he isn't known for having great sense of humor

He roasted generals too but "unidentified" people gave him a beating so he stopped

The journalist create a mayhem by using words 'kidnapping' and 'disappearance'.

the state need to prosecute a few journalists and put them in jail. This freedom badmasshi must be addressed.

It has to be said, Pakistani journalists are such pieces of sh*t. They have only be exposed because of this 'freedom' .

I am talking about this case not Asad Toor case.

What is the progress on Toor case?

This where govt loses narrative. They dont follow through. That episode should be exposed because if its not, then these incidents become excuse to lynch and excoriate Pakistan.

What is wrong with people. FIA is a legally mandated institution. NAB is a legally mandated institution. Not one thing they do is outside of the color of law. In the US journalists have been sent to jail on not revealing their sources, even though there is a constitutional provision giving them protections. Journalists have even surprising had their cars suddenly drive off the road and explode into a ball of fire (accidents).

Only in Pakistan is arrest called "temporary disappearance".

If people were only privy to what these so called journalists do, you'll understand the real and present danger some of these "professionals" pose to our nation. Journalism is important and should be supported. Extortion, blackmail, treason, external monetary funding, linkages with external intel agencies and their sponsored proxies should be snuffed out. A significant part of the journalistic profession in Pakistan is replete with such criminals. Najam Sehti knows better.

I support all our institutions identifying and bringing to bear the weight of the state on these people. Having said that institutions must also make certain that under the garb of legitimate legal action, people are not being subjugated to personal agendas and victimization.

Where is the West's crocodile tears for journalists in India/Egypt/Bahrain/UAE/Brazil/Saudi Arabia and even Europe (Wikileaks). Nowhere. Where is the West when you have manicured journalism in Singapore/Indonesia/Taiwan? Where are the sanctions? Nowhere.
They need clicks so they make such clickbaity headlines and enforced disappearances are a spicy topic in Pakistan.
