Mod Edit: Quoting propaganda tweet.

Govt will give its position (on fencing b/w Afg & Pak) when its formed. However our people are concerned & don’t agree with it. Fencing has divided our nations & families on both sides. We want to have an atmosphere that doesn’t require fencing,”

Want open borders

Acceptable but not rn, atleast 5 years from now

Ok. Lets say we take down the fence for some reason. Whats gonna happen?

Mass terrorist infiltration, mass drug smuggling, probably fuel smuggling as well, human trafficking, car smuggling, refugee crisis, and then suddenly... We have another large scale military operation launched against the terrorists. Wait... This already happened....

. . .
Our spokesman, Zabihullah Mujahid, told a Pakistani media outlet that the Durand Line was unacceptable to any Afghan and was not recognized by anyone. The new government will take a firm stand on this from its inception.

Simple, if they damage fence, shooting them on sites. Rest won’t come near the fence. There is a reason they wouldn’t challenge American or Iranians build barriers, because Afghans knew American and Iranian wouldn’t hesitate to shoot.

Certain statements are made for political and PR purposes. They will be judged on their actions/inaction rather than their statements.

From Pakistan's perspective, the fencing and associated surveilance grid will have to stay if the Western front is to be quelled.

So far the Taliban have said to Pakistan: a) we will do nothing about TTP b) we do not respect the Durand line.

With “friends” like these...

So far, Taliban wants open border contrary to the notion being said in 1st tweet. Secondly, TTP is already told to settle matter by Taliban and they have disowned them as well. However, if one loves to believe otherwise, I will leave you to whatever convince you.

The Taliban spokesman confirms the Taliban want to create an atmosphere so peaceful that a fence is not needed.

At the moment, the Taliban do recognise Pakistani concerns why a fence is indeed needed.

This statement makes sense.

.
They basically believe in Muslim brotherhood... Consider Pakistan as second home and may be foresee borh Af-Pak as two units one country....

Sorry but we are not interested

Durand Line is an International border of Pakistan and they should stay on the other side of the border

He didn't say anything like what the guy tried to narrate in 1st tweet.

Translation in short: We will build an atmosphere where fencing wouldn't be needed. People have relations and close friendships on both sides. The two brothers wouldn't need the fence. (Conclusion).

Just reminding everyone what I wrote:

Maybe they should consider becoming a province of Pakistan, our constitution ensures provincial autonomy

They want open borders, not actually claim our territory.
Bro is the translation correct of what he actually said?

Zabehulah conversation has been shared before.

There is a lot of difference between 1st and 2nd tweet.

A wild thought:

A landmass almost 3/4 the size of Pakistan with 4 crore population. A United country seems not a bad proposition if one can manage the crime, terrorism (PTM, ISKP, TTP) drugs etc. Along with a host of administrative problems like governance structure, constitution framework. Something to unite us all maybe the origin of Islam in South Asia.

If we get past the obstacles we will emerge as a very powerful country at a geographic location with huge geostrategic significance.
