This is a major development. US Justice department and Attorney General Holder will review the charges, however no charges have been officially filed as of yet.

Generals are also subject to laws. Imagine that. This is just legal and due process at work, as it should.

are you totally high on your false ideals... what kind of law allows people to be exempted from punishments over seeing torture chambers in the world but can hold him for leaking classified intel. The American justice system kill a person it is ok but do not leak things :)

"When an American says that he loves his country, he means not only that he loves the New England hills, the prairies glistening in the sun, the wide and rising plains, the great mountains, and the sea. He means that he loves an inner air, an inner light in which freedom lives and in which a man can draw the breath of self-respect." - Adlai Stevenson

That is a good point, however CIA claims they never tortured but used "enhanced interrogation". Sen. Dianne Feinstein in her report on CIA revealed many things that Congress is looking into.
