LAHORE: Two people were killed and 27 others wounded in an explosion near a shrine in Lahore late Thursday.

“It was a low-intensity blast apparently caused by a cracker (firecracker),” local police officer Mohammad Shehzad said.

The explosion took place at the gate of the shrine of saint Haider Sain. The device was apparently thrown from a moving vehicle.

Police have cordoned off the area and an investigation is under way, officials said.—DawnNews/AFP

The blast was probably caused by the that have declared war on anyone who does not follow the takiri way. Right now Sufis are their main targets. The Taliban also blew up shrines in Afghanistan, the Al-Shabab do so in Somalia, groups in Algeria and Morocco do the same thing.

These vermin should be exterminated.
