Feared gangster and terrorist FIGHT in violent brawl ‘over balance of power’ in prison

A MOBSTER and convicted terrorist were filmed hurling punches at each other in shocking CCTV from a notorious prison.
The fierce brawl between Bassam Hamzy, 40, and Talal Alameddine, 26, was sparked after a “heated discussion” over the balance of power inside the prison.
Footage taken at Goulburn’s Supermax prison in New South Wales, Australia, shows the feared inmates trading blows inside their a room.
At one point, one of the fighters is seen getting dragged to the ground under the pummeling of his rival.
Both Hamzy and Alameddine were separated and detained by Corrective Services NSW, but they reportedly refused medical treatment.
Neither wanted to speak about what happened or what sparked the alleged brawl.
But they have been charged with affray after the incident in October, with their cases adjourned until June.
Hamzy was jailed in 1998 for killing Kris Toumazis outside a nightclub in Sydney.
He founded the notorious gang Brothers 4 Life behind bars in 2008, after converting to Islam.
That same year, he was caught using a smuggled phone to organise kidnappings, shootings and kneecappings.

He was also convicted of conspiring to have a key witness murdered while serving behind bars and is serving a combined maximum sentence of more than 40 years – with his earliest release date in June 2035.
Alameddine was sentenced to a maximum 17 years in prison for supplying the gun used to murder police accountant Curtis Cheng in a 2015 terrorist attack.
If found guilty of the prison brawl, both could face a maximum of 10 years on top of their existing sentences.
Goulburn’s is the highest security prison in Australia and houses some of the most dangerous criminals in the country.
