Balochistan has been under the grip of violence for more than a decade. The year 2013 witnessed a sharp rise in the number suicide attacks and other terrorist incidents.

We congratulate the Frontier Corps on stopping this deadly operation. We commend their efforts and bravery in countering these terrorist operations. They continue to risk their lives in trying to secure the region. It is safe to say that they might have saved many lives by seizing these explosive materials. The terrorists are fully focused on destabilizing the region with their acts of terror. The proximity of this operation to the common border highlights the importance of shared cooperation between the regional partners. It is safe to assume that the terrorists are working against our forces on both sides of the border. Therefore, it only makes sense for us to combine our strength against our common enemies. We wish to see peace prevail throughout the region, and hope to achieve our shared peace objectives through each other’s assistance.
