One thing no-one should forget is just how close a lot of these parties, with the exception of MQM, ANP and PPP were to the TTP. It bled us a lot. And I am not convinced that elements within these parties have suddenly changed their entire stance on a major issue due to one attack in a list of hundreds.

On the contrary, terror organizations were promoted, made and spread during the rule of PPP ANP and MQM.
These parties even used national resources to support terror organizations and enemy states of Pakistan.... otherwise also known as states sponsoring terror.

there is a heart rending story of infanticide during the time of Muhammad PBUH when a man came to Him and crying and seeking forgiveness for his grave sin he narrated how before becoming Muslim he had to bury his daughter alive and as he dug the hole and put her there she held his fingers with her little hands and he continued to put sand over her and buried her alive.

I am sure that you and I both can agree that this girl was a "non-shia", right? and this story kicks me in the heart every time I hear it. Muhammad PBUH wept and wept so much that his beard was covered with tears and He told him to narrate the story again and then wept more and told the man to repent and prayed Allah to forgive that man.

so why did I mention that? I mentioned that while keeping in mind the lifeless bodies of all the children in APS Peshawar. they all looked exactly like my children.

that incident has eaten me from inside. I am sorry I didn't bother to check the sects of those children laying there and I dont have the heart to detail how they were killed either. the animals who butchered them also kill shias I know that but now they have tasted the blood of everyone and they like it and they will continue to spill it while you will spend your time wondering who is shia and who is non-shia.

I am very cynical about this. Our performance in the war on terror has been weak at best. We have failed to eliminate top commanders constantly. Neither Baitullah nor Hakimullah died at our hand. Out of the 6 districts in which operation rah e nijat was launched only one of these was cleared.

We need to pull our socks up and hunt down Fazlullah, no matter where he may be hiding. Look at the americans. They always guard their interests. To kill Laden they infiltrated Pakistani territory. If we gain such intelligence we should do the same. Currently we have a foreign policy that is one of the weakest for any sovereign state.

Also we need to eliminate the Taliban. Not for anyone else but for ourselves.

I think the problem is within us. Aren't we sectarian in our outlook. Our own family is not only sectarian but ethnically divided. For them Shias have be-noor faces and are all going to go to hell.

I think to fight terrorism we need to fight intolerance on which it grows. The westerners are partly right. They have the middle path. They favor secularism. We are the ones who favor Islamist dictatorships.
