I just purchased 15 days back WaganR, its really good car.
Of course not equal to Nissan Sunny I am driving since 5 years but cost wise prefect

Because the prices are extortionate, like 8000 us dollars for a car like his:

Instead of blaming company, blame your govt.
Must have very high taxes. For japnese Indians and Pakistanis are same they dont differentiate.
Because of high prices due to taxes results in low sales which itself cycle as high manufacturing cost.
If taxes would low, more sales, in turn more localization and economy of scale which in itself leads to more consumption

The price in the 90's used to be around 90,000, nowadays they shot up the price to 800,000 while slowly stripping away features.

This company is a nightmare.

Low end WagonR is priced, as per the OP is 10.5 Lakh which is around 6.6 Lakh INR. While a WagonR would cost around 4.2 Lakh INR of which Tax is 1 Lakh INR (incl all). in India

Either Suzuki is ripping you guys off, or the tax is too damn high.

@Pluralist I think that's because there are still takers for Mehran. If the sales go down then gradually it will be discontinued.

Government was willing to allow new auto maker to setup facilities because current players have become mafia they take all benefits from Government but doesn't deliver what Government ask to deliver, all 3 players have identified their market segment and they don't penetrate or hurt others segment much.

Its No excuse, A reality
In India Suzuki made whole set of local Industry of ancillary due to good govt. support resulting in 100% localization , low prices and high demand.
Today India is world renounced exporter of small cars all thanx to suzuki and Indian companies low cost frugal engineering

Nobody would know here after Tesla, Maruti (Suzuki Indian JV) is the most valued car maker on per car sales basis due to high profits and high growth.
Maruti is 20 times more expansive then GM or FORD and 10 times to the best Chinese car maker. Chinese cant compete us in this sector like in IT and Pharma

If your country could have allowed Indian spares for Pak Suzuki, things would have completely different in Pakistan but again your Govt. policy making common Pakistani suffer

6 lac INR with (company fitted CNG Rs60000 Included) and its middle model. But I got many benefits like they gave me my old sentro Rs 30,000 more valuation then I tried in 2nd hand market and some more like Free Ins. worth 21000. So I can say It cost me much lesser then 6 lacs.
Even I got exchange bonus of Rs 20000 as well

So its almost 8500 without cng ... we are paying 10000 dollars without any features ... that means not even AC ... with AC it will around 11K and company fitted cng kits are not in pakistan
