Fastest Growing China and Taiwan Relations

ROFL, show me some proof which is not from your head but from a piece of real article done by professor from a real university or someone with reputation in history, or some first hand material.

Now, 95% of Taiwanese are Han Chinese, including Taiwanese Green Camp (Pro-independence groups).

...

Brother, have you read the recent poll in Taiwan, that the majority (including majority in Blue) do not favor unification (both quick or slow unification) but remaining in status quo?

What do you think? What do most HKers think?

In reality, people in Taiwan who are either favour unification or independent are among the minorities, most of them just want status quo and to carry on their normal daily life. However in the future, the tread is quite clear, the way things are going right now is towards the inevitable unification. Both parties of mainland and Taiwan are not in a hurry to force anything.

Since Qing Dynasty.

Taiwan was ceded to Japan in second Sino-Japan war, but was return back to China (ROC) after the Allies defeated the Axies.

Actually, it was the first Sino-Japanese war (1894-1895). They were fighting over control of Korea (NOTE: Korea was a Chinese tribute state).

When Sino lost the war, Sino had to cede many strategic places and one of them was Taiwan.

The second Sino-Japanese war was 1937-1945.

Yes, it's historically true that when Japan surrendered in 1945 Taiwan was returned back to China and at that time the KMT government represented China.

So, it makes no sense to say that Taiwan is not part of China (as some of these secessionists claim). That's why it's not surprising that China or PRC passed anti-secession law for Taiwan.
