Fast and Furious in Peshawar !

Check out this app Zameen. They have many choices all over Pakistan
Yeah, it's a good website. The main one that I use
Albeit I hear Mirpur is very developed but I have never visited the place however, Gulberg Green and Bharia Islamabad are hot. Finding tenants is no issue, some property dealers can take care of it.
Prices in Mirpur are beginning to rise due to higher demand there, and expats are beginning to come back.
I was thinking of developing properties myself, perhaps smaller housing to form pretty little villages like these DHA plots.

I know that a relative of mine managed to build a sprawling mansion for a little in excess of £15k on like an 8 marla plot.

Would smaller housing and village-focused builds be a good investment?
(just to get a generic idea)

gorgeous cars apart from that German eyesore

R33 GTR looks fire as does it’s grandson the R35 I’d prefer the R33 though if it’s a series 3

Oh, understandable.
I have a bit saved up too. Would you recommend investing in Pakistan in terms of buying real estate?
What are the chances of being able to find lodgers for a small home in Mirpur or Islamabad?

You can find people to rent homes in Mirpur, but if you want to rent your home to a professional family, someone low risk, then maybe Islamabad might be a better bet.

It s developed, but it's not compared to Bharia etc. The wider infrastructure is not that great. We drive our prado's on roads with pot holes and gas comes in cylinders.

I think affordable housing is a great shout for Pakistan. Might be a bit risky in terms of style etc, but a lot of young people struggle to buy expensive homes.

Yeah, my main idea was to fill in the gaps that the other affordable housing companies (AMC NAPHDA) failed in. Creating communal housing in the form of individual homes is more inviting that communal housing in the form of apartments, as it appeals to young and old alike.

If you are interested in looking at this, I recommend the Naya Pakistan project

I actually sold my DHA plot (Originally belonging to Rawalpindi Society) and bought one in Gulberg Green.
Sir @PanzerKiel , let me stop you there. before giving Windy the love emoji, let's first ask why he sold it, to see if it's deserved.

Did you sell it to protest against regime change or for $$$? :D

Well that's all nullified if it wasn't gained through military service.
anyone can buy a DHA plot if they have the money

Neither, I discovered that it would be few years before any development work kicks off there. I spent sometime in Gulberg Green and really loved the place, so decided to sell up there.
Not denying that I made over one crore profit on it.

So, that love emoji from @PanzerKiel wasn't deserved.

1 crore profit for 10 marlas. How long did you have it for?

That's not the point, bro.
I was referring to boycott. Everyone starts selling to drive the price into the ground.

I was actually going to make a thread on this. Boycott company products. Hit em where it hurts the most.

But, then I legit thought I'd get picked up if the idea got popular. Not even kidding.

Maybe you can do it. You are overseas. :D

When I'm in Pakistan, I don't even recall using any of these company products at all, nor does anyone I know.
Obviously their businesses aren't doing well enough to be worth boycotting anyway, as seen with fauji foods and fauji fertilisers, who's profit trend has taken a steeper downward curve than the mig 21 during swift retort

Originally it had nothing to do with DHA. As said earlier it was a project of Rawalpindi Society, the company later collapsed, however investors forced Sheikh Rasheed to look into the matter, he offered investors either refunds or to sit tight. Eventually the sector was taken over by DHA but we were told that it may take some five years before and development work is carried out there. The irony is I never ever set foot on that piece of land.
