Are you trying to bait
No I am stating fact. I am the first to defend China, but that does not mean I am ignorant as to what is happening in Chinese Turkestan to Uighurs. I only brought this up [normally I mask this because I don't want to offend Chinese members here and give succour to Indians] because i am sick of people singing on about about this ummah love and crying over Palestinians, Rohingyas, Syrians when non ever shed a tear about Kashmir or Pakistan.

And yes recognising israel would maybe help Pakistan
By giving a justification to mullah brigade to wage jihad against Pakistan? If another insurgency is what you desire then sure, go for it.

And no, we have nothing to gain by establishing relations with Israel. Except "thats like a good boy" pat on back from Western countries. Practically, we will loose alot.

Don't fight them, don't est relations with them either. Keep a safe distance.

What Arafat did vis-à-vis IOK does not mean that we have to reciprocate his "gesture" by recognizing Israel and justifying their occupation. (which in turn would weaken our principled stance on the status of Kashmir)

The rabid uneducated mullah and his supporters
When these "rabid uneducated mullah and his supporters" fight against the enemy of your army in Kashmir then they're freedom fighters...else they're presented as enemies of state.
Don't use them as expendables then.

Why use them as foreign policy tools in Kashmir and Afghanistan if they're so bad? Or maybe some here want to turn them against the state just for the sake of recognizing a country thousands of kilometers away. Try to figure who will benefit the most from an internal divide.

Hi,

Pak navy had extensive experience in submarine warfare in 1965---. The Ghazi sub already sunk / damaged indian naval ship in the 65 war---.

I highly doubt Pakistan recognising Israel would do us all the good people seem to think it would.

What can our recognition give to Israel other than some political points, and once we give that, it would be the extent of most of what we can realistically offer.

Why would they prefer Pakistan over India? Is our recognition, and especially after that, worth the relationship the Indians have built up with the Israelis?

I say this because the Indians have always been 'possessive' about their friends. Whenever Pakistan tries to buy something from someone, the Indians start their public objections and diplomatic efforts to try and have it cancelled.

So thinking that the Ummah, which has repeatedly bailed us out on many occasions, from gaining all the countless bounties from recognising Israel is not beneficial.

The Turks, for almost a century went to extreme lengths to distance themselves from Islam, they look European and dress like Europeans as well, but they weren't accepted in the EU.

The recent events between Turkey and the US, which was on the front line against the Soviets and is part of NATO, are a good example as well. How they all refused to back the Turks during the jet shooting crisis between Turks and Russians. How many think the same would have been the reaction if it was the UK or the French who'd done it?

And remember - we are not European looking Turks.

The Europeans saw that they cannot do much individually, but together they can be a major independent player on the world stage. That is why they have been trying to slowly empower the European Union.

The Ummah is nearly two billion strong group controlling vast territories, with immense natural resources and a huge young population. The potential is great.

It is also the only viable option for us in which we can get a respectable position (if we start getting out house in order).

The lot that thinks that Ummah is holding us back from true greatness is deluding itself. They are the similar to the Brexit lot.

There is strength in numbers, and we can only be counted amongst those who are willing to truly count us amongst themselves.

...

As for recognising Israel, we can do it when the rest of the M.E does it. We are in no hurry.

There is no point in bypassing all the allies who we've supported, and who have supported us, on numerous occasions for decades now.

Probably trying to get to India, but a malfunction or problem on the plane caused it to have to request a landing in Pakistan. Pakistan is obligated through international law to assist civil planes if help is urgently needed, regardless of which nation owns the plane, or status of Pakistan's diplomatic relations with said nation. The plane likely headed back to Israel, once the issue was resolved, to get checked properly.

Don't read too much into it.

Besides, Pakistan isn't inherently anti-Israel, but rather it's stance is clear and consistent. Recognize Palestine along the Arab peace plan, and get recognition, along with diplomatic ties.

Its in the rumors a high profile Israel government official visited Islamabad.
We can convey our concerns to them regarding Arab-Israel Conflict Only if we have coordination and working relation with them. Coordinating Our Public is way too sensitive regarding Palestinian Issue and What Israel can do to outreach Pakistani Public effectively instead of Senseless Hate mongering and Blame Game (Although its a completely different story Palestine Supports Indian Stance on Kashmir Regarding Narrative Terrorism instead of Freedom Struggle).
To be fair, Israel Iran Conflict is getting way way bigger then Arab-Israel and Muslim-Jew Conflict Narrative.
Israel is focusing more now to defuse tension with many countries to garner support or at least neutral stance between Israel and Iran Conflict. Nothing really threatened Modern day Israel so close to its borders since the days of Arab-Israel Wars. Israel even tried to Outreach Syria to Curb its ties with Iran in Return of Normal ties with Israel.
But i don't think this will go much further with Pakistan. Our Influence in Middle East is virtually Non-existent to play any role. We don't have any influence on Syria-Iran Alliance and Hezbollah. In fact most of our people are hostile to this alliance, and on the other side of the rope our public will never accept Israel as well its too sensitive an issue. Funny thing Majority of Pakistanis Hate Both Iran and Israelis Equally. And their isn't much Pakistan and Israel can gain from each other
