You need to use your brain before starting such a stupid thread. Do you really understand what actually happened, how difficult the situation was and what was possible/safe to do and not to do. It was not a simple operation that you send a chopper and pick up all those who were trapped in the broken chairlift.
There was another rope about 30 feet higher of top of that rope where the chair was hanging. How can yo bring a helicopter close to the hanging chairlift. The pressure under the wings of the chopper would have broken that rope too. The rescuers then sent a commando from a chopper (flying at a safe height) with a hanging rope but the wind currents were so high that he was moving like a pendulum. Obviously it would be extremely dangerous to use this technique. Anyhow, they were finally able to overcome that and reach the chairlift but all persons (but one kid) refused to go with the commando. That is not really surprising reaction from a group of young men who were hanging in the air for many hours. Anyhow, that one kid was rescued by the chopper while others were rescued by using other techniques.
All is well if end is well. We need to admire the efforts by all those who tried to help. Why the heck you are bringing your inner shit against the Pak military and displaying it on the PDF?
