Great work. Is it possible for you to show exports if crude oil was selling at 2013-2014 prices?

Exact data would come out only in next year's economic survey.

But a quick backhand calculation:

percentage of petroleum product in 2014-15 in export basket = 20%

Exports in 2014-15= $284 Billion

Petroleum export = 20% of 284 = 56.5 Billion.

Had crude been at $120 pb compared to $60 pd it is these days Petroleum exports would have been $113.6 Billion and net exports would have been $340.8 Billion, ie an increase of $17 Billion.

Though this is a very simplified and crude analysis. I took demand as same and has taken a direct relation between crude oil price and refined petroleum price; both of which are not 100% correct. But correct data would be authoritatively known in next economic survey where petroleum export and rest export break-up would also be given.
