Trump's base may be overwhelming white but they are not all racist and hateful. Look what uncontrolled and illegal immigration has done to the US, they're staring at very big demographic changes in the not too distant future. Which society on earth would suddenly (within a generation or so) want to be minorities in the country their forefathers founded, racial or religious ? How will Pakistan react if you're faced with being reduced to a minority muslim, or a minority sunni country ? Would Nigeria or some African country stand for it if whites of asians etc were all set to replace the founding stock of their countries, or if the Han were to become minority in China ?

I got a degree from the US in the late 90s (best time ever), visited my old friends from the deep south/ so called "bible belt" years later (after 9/11). Some of them had joined the marine core and army, air national guard.. all sorts of national defence organizations.

They love their guns, I can tell you that much lol. I'm even friends with a rabid anti Trump liberal who got his wings in the 82nd airborne, he's super pro 2nd amendment.

I do think he should do something about the gun situation in his 2nd term. At least ban all semi and automatics. It is a difficult topic for any prez to touch but something necessary to do.

Immigration - I do hope he pushes stronger anti-illegal immigration measures in his 2nd term.
