Expatriates send $13.5bn every year and rising

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis, Dr Farooq Sattar said that the overseas Pakistanis are not only representatives of Pakistan but also a great asset for our country.

He said overseas Pakistanis send more than $13.5 billion remittances to Pakistan every year adding that every one should respect their efforts for the country. To a question, he said the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis is working on various projects for the welfare of ‘our overseas Pakistanis’. He said overseas Pakistanis may also play their constructive role in the development of the country and welfare of their countrymen.

Thats silly question tbh- whats the expat population ratio of an indian per Pakistani?-

india has 4 time more expats than Pakistan but send 5 times money. Also always look to compete to acheive success.

Actually its $66.13 billion for 2011-12 n is expected to cross $70 billion this year itself...
