This is my first ever thread since 8 years of membership of this forum
As pak navy making its 4th Azmat Class FAC its 560 tonnes. Can pakistan navy follow Israrl navy SAAR class approach , and its ecperience from making F22p frigate ,, combine theri input they can make at least corvette size ship design , feasible to eide varaity ,roles ,
1.Like our air force have AWC facility , Pak navy has like some facility too, ... what the evolution and beyond Azmat design .. and whats it have in weapons , EW , systems....
2.Need of more shipyard
3.Dedicated submarine construction and reparing facility

No troll positive input ,, for what should do to improve navy in its limited share,,,

Improve economy so that budget for navy can increase ...

Ship building is expensive therefore need strong economy to back you ...

Make the Azmat bigger (twice the size)so it can have a helicopter pad in the back and use experience from the milgem program to make indigenous corvettes.

PN should invest more in Azmat Class to make it improved multi purpose FAC and extend the program to more bigger and better own indigenous ships. After Larkana and Jalalat, Azmat is a good improvement but it is very slow and lacking many state of the art components in both surveillance and defense. PN should use it's past Zulfiqar and future Milgem and damen OPV experiences in Azmat or an Evolution of it. after Milgem and Damen OPV PN will have very diversified Chinese, Turkish and dutch technologies and design experiences.
