Last year I dropped my wallet with about 2,000 yuan in it in Beijing, I didn't realize I lost it until the police called me and asked me to take it back, not even one cent was missing, the police told me and someone found it and handed it to the police station.
I sometimes wonder if there were no cameras around that busy street, would people still return the wallet, sometimes good behaviors could be the result of monitoring.
