Epic Wagha border power display by Pakistan Rangers

.
That body language ,stature and facial expressions of Pakistani ranger soldier says it all :)

. . .
Are undergarments in short supply in Indian BSF?

Those hand-picked Pakistani ranger guys definitely look more ferocious. But I got bored by all that foreplay: if both could get their legs that high then better settle it in a bout of Karate.

I feel the Indian side should QUIT this strutting gameplay at Wagah: it doesn't look good for the country's or armed forces image to be humiliated like this. In a world of submachine guns, and Howitzers, you don't have to prove anything.

I am sure that BSF Jawan later went home to savagely beat his wife.

First of all I respect the honesty and open mindedness coming from a indian.
Yes no doubt it's apparent the pakistan side rangers look more masculine and ferocious.

That's a good one

One more thing in order to compete with Pakistani rangers who are Punjabi jats who are known for their masculine body and personality ,the Indian side also need to recruit similar Punjabi jats from Indian Punjab who are Sikhs .
Those BSF soldiers at ceremony are from jamna paar who grew up eating vegetables.

I have trained in martial arts. So I can tell what kind of opponent you shouldn't be picking on. Unless it's a life and death situation, of course.

Why can't these BSF bozos use their brains? They happily send Subedar Ranjeet Singh (whatever) everyday to be humiliated like this. Dude will break down at this rate.

You shouldn't be picking up fights you can't win.

That is correct. But he's more likely to be from Rajasthan. Even I'm not scared of those types, and I'm a non-military person.

Perhaps, they should be sending Sunny Deol to yell at that Ranger. :-)

Of course at wagha border.

This all looks churlish and stage set and just to panders to the crowd gathered there, but still has some amount of camaraderie on both sides, yes Pak rangers looks ferocious in national dress.

So why can' this be reciprocated at other sectors if this is a friendly fight. And if the India and Pakistan are enemies which seems more plausible, why this display of friendship.

Why it has to be a frenemies till the end of times.

I don't know if it's the same in Pakistan side but I have been to BSF cantonments long ago (had family connections). Many junior-ranked BSF soldiers are abused and humiliated daily by senior officers for no reason. They bring groceries for their wives, drop their children at school, cook at the kitchen, maintain the gardens..always on personal duty for a senior officer.

There is a top-down bullying culture which is a legacy of colonial British army. The present day British army has moved on and are almost all professionally trained soldiers.

Yes, everywhere in the armed forces worldwide, the cadets and privates are abused and bullied. But in India, they are literally treated like servants by the senior officers.

I am not an expert but I think you certainly can't fight an opponent if your self-confidence is destroyed by your own higher-ups. That is why Indian armed forces have so many cases of mental illness.

Bullying should have a higher purpose. It cannot be the gratification of senior officers alone.

But again, it reflects the culture of India. It is also the prevailing mindset of Indian companies.

Junior = Servant

Junior cadets in Pakistan Army also gets a lot of rigmarole, rigorous to the point of being punitive, sessions, seniors asking for all sort of thankless work from the juniors, but this is all part of training and the hierarchical tiers in Pakistan Army just as elsewhere.

Like taking bath with cold water in winters at 4 am in the morning, cleaning senior cadets shoes...and that kind of stuff and when the juniors gets to the senior positions they do the same to the freshmen what has been done to them.

But it is all done in a respected way and not in a demeaning and insulting way bordering on class difference kind of things. It is like more rigmarole...the better, more humbler the ideal.

Yes I read few articles about desertions in Indian Army and juniors taking the brunt there and suffering mental problems...

..

Yes, that's what. It is the norm in armed forces everywhere. I support bullying for the right reasons.

The problem is present day Indian culture...as someone said the Ganga-Jamna culture is the worst. Casteist slurs are very common, also questioning one's parenthood with "haraami, haraamzaada" etc. used in every sentence. Most of it is unnecessary and only serves to gratify someone in power.

You haven't arrived in India unless you have 20 servants at your beck and call.

Everyone is like that..senior bureaucrats, politicians, armed forces, every Tom, Dick, and Harry with any power in India thinks of himself as a LORD.

Very few are down to earth, unfortunately.

Not that tangibly manifested here in Pakistan...a Pathan driver or Mali(gardener) will kill his master if he was yelled haraami and haraamzada...

This multitude of servants and helpers/peons culture is present in Pakistan in govt. circle, might be of lesser extent than India as India has a huge population with extra helping hands to be fed.

Army Batman service is provided to even the retired Army men here...just one person for household help..
