End of ISIS? Putin sends in his most ruthless special forces killers to finish off jihadis

Spetsnaz are dehumanised killing machines, its more like ISIS in uniform. These bastards used to tie up Afghan children & throw them in the water so they would drown each other. Another favorite tactic of Spetsnaz in Afghanistan was to round up kids after wransacking a village, tie them in a pile & burn them alive with flame throweres.

Just because they are going to fight ISIS doesn't hide the fact that this organization has war crimes on its hands.

If you believe that then you must also believe war crimes committed by Pak Army in Baluchistan, Karachi and East Pakistan.

Is there any proof to these allegations? We all know how bad Soviets fucked up Afghanistan, but we should accept everything with proof, considering there was a constant propaganda battle between ISI, CIA and KGB regarding the war in Afghanistan. Does your allegations have anything to do with the fact that Pakistan and Soviets stood on the opposite sides?

About war crimes, for example I read, on a daily basis, about crimes of ISI regarding Baloochs and others, kidnappings, mass graves, tortures, I certainly don't believe them when I see them without proof, but one thing is for sure, most secret services in the world have made their hands pretty dirty.

Russians are no exceptions, we can conclude with confidence that if Soviets had not attacked Afghanistan, not only we would see another completely different Afghanistan today, but also a different Middle East. U.S and Soviets are the main culprits for the fucked up situation in region.

But, if Russians are killing ISIS and other terrorists for whatever reason, we shouldn't stop them, they are doing a good thing, regardless of their past.

I have the same feelings. One one hand I'm happy to see ISIS pigs blown to pieces but this war is far from over. I fear this war will engulf Jordan and Lebanon and its at risk of spreading all over Middle East resulting in more migrant crisis.

Yes,this will spread like wild fire unless you send 300k troops on the ground with the mission to go on a rampage.Which won't happen. At least i hope we will help the neighbouring countries with the refugees and to secure their borders.Syria is lost for at least a decade and no soooper doooper Spetznaz will end that war in the imediate future. They will only give Assad a life line...for a time.

You left out Turkey: Another Syrian nightmare, courtesy of the Russians

Turkey is in much more danger with fleeing zombies ending up on its territory. It's position is exactly what was Pakistan's position in 1990's only alot worse.

Though Turkey had been warned of these days by Iran and Pakistan: Pakistan warns Turkey: Don’t make our mistakes

This is getting interesting every passing day. @Horus I wouldnt mind at all the abuse you describe of spetsnaz against IS fighters. Infact I would like to have some pop corn while I see these sick IS fcks drown and scream in agony.

I grew up during Soviet withdrawal from Afghanistan and large influx of Afghan migrants in my city, I have seen the whole Pakistani society become extremist. We used to take pride in our city as a hub of free thinking people. Now there is so many illegal madarsas and illegal Afghan settlements where Taliban are still hiding.

Coming from a Pakistani I wish Turks would listen to us and realise they are making the same mistake as we did.
The way things are going Turkey looks like its in real danger of being radicalised. Turkish Nationalism is being hijacked by Islamists. No wonder in Germany Turks attacked Kurds protesting against ISIS. Strangely enough most of them are not religious but their hate for Kurds is so much that they would rather join ISIS and help them against Kurds.

Finally!!!! Thanks Putin....thanks for saving helpless people and a SPECIAL THANKS FOR SAVING THE NAME OF ISLAM FROM THESE SAVAGES....
It has been a foolish policy, thinking that "moderate Muslims" could save Muslims from themselves. Moderates, by definition, seek to avoid conflict. Since Muslims haven't yet developed or adopted a sufficiently motivating ideology to oppose ISIS' appeal, brute force by outsiders is now a welcomed necessity.

What happened to the Pakistan that fielded an ambassador who could convince Muslim terrorists to surrender using only his tongue? [link] Can it ever come back? Do Pakistanis even want it to?

the Russian spetznaz training does include a lot of mental and physical torture/training stuff that would be completely unacceptable to western European/US/NATO countries.

ISIS, al qaeda/nusra and the rest of the jihadis will meet their match, and be beaten by the Ruskie dogs of war, both spetzi and in the air, I don't expect them to follow any silly "rules of engagement" bs that force the US and their allies to always fight with one hand tied behind their back for the most part.

good luck Russia, finally a military power ready to get their hands dirty and cleanse the planet of the cancer spreading in Syria.

everybody is killing Syrians because of personal gains and interests
ISIS killing to gain control
Al Asad killing to remain in Control
Turkey killing Kurds to stop their influence
Iran is killing to support religious group
Russia is killing for Al Asad money oil and resources
America and nato to destabilize the region
at the and no Syrian will exist but the invader the vultures to loot

That Pakistan is long gone. You could always ask the great man himself. I heard he lives in the USA. Might be too old to remember much though.

It's all messed up now. US & the West doesn't know how to react to this unexpected Russian venture. Maybe they'll end up supporting ISIS instead of those anti-Asad rebels getting flattened by the Russians right now!

what would you prefer? isis in your village/town/city killing everyone willy nilly, or Russian troops killing isis and removing them from your village/town/city. even the Syrian govern is supporting russia. if you were to pick a side between russia or nato who would remove terrorists, who would you pick and why?

I wish isis and jehadis debacle but if putin put ground troops in the war i see him loosing credibility at home in future due to huge casualities of soldiers
