The EMB 145 MP is a new-generation Maritime Patrol and Anti-Submarine Warfare aircraft, developed with modern and efficient concepts arising in the 21st century.

The EMB 145 MP incorporates a wide variety of innovations in product and maintenance philosophies, capable of keeping the aircraft fully updated and operational within its entire life cycle.
The mature ERJ 145 platform and its special versions take advantage of systems defined since conception to cope with the technology evolution of equipment, systems and sensors.

Characteristics

The EMB 145 MP, a new addition to Embraer’s successful Intelligence-Surveillance-Reconnaissance (ISR) System, features the following characteristics:

• High levels of operational efficiency, mission performance and survivability, even in the most adverse theater
• Commonality with other special versions, such as the EMB 145 AEW&C and EMB MULTI INTEL
• Baseline aircraft commonality with over 900 regional aircraft currently in operation worldwide, providing high levels of availability, reliability and dispatchability
• An Advanced Mission System, built around an open architecture, allowing the EMB 145 MP to be configured according with customer needs
• Underwing hard points capable of carrying external loads for both weapons and special equipment

Multi-role

The EMB 145 MP, EMB 145’s designation for maritime applications, features the following versions:

• Maritime Patrol
• Maritime Patrol and Anti-Surface Unit Warfare (ASuW)
• Maritime Patrol and Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW)

In a more and more demanding tactical environment, Maritime Patrol/Surveillance Aircraft have become multipurpose platforms and are required to carry out the following missions:

• Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW)
• Anti-Surface Unit Warfare (ASuW)
• Anti-Ship Surveillance and Targeting (ASST)
• Maritime Surveillance (MS)
• Electronic Warfare (EW), Electronic Support Measures (ESM), Electronic Intelligence (ELINT)
• Communication Intelligence (COMINT)
• Search and Rescue (SAR)
• Law enforcement (anti-smuggling, anti-piracy, anti-drug)
• Fisheries patrol
• Sovereignty, Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) Surveillance

High Availability
A high degree of commonality with the highly successful ERJ 145 means that (1) the airframe sports a record of 7+ million flight hours, 8+ million cycles and (2) a large number of support centers worldwide puts spare parts no more than a few hours away from where they’re needed.

Affordability
The aircraft’s platform was designed to be economically efficient in the highly demanding environment of the civilian commercial aviation. Low acquisition and direct operating costs are inherited from the commercial aircraft.

Thanks a lot. And Its a good option but I prefer Chinese ones like:
I wish that in near future we will be able to hear that PN has inducted 7 Chinese Y-9MPA/ASW along with 3 Chinese Y-9AEW&Cs and may be 5 Y-XMPA/ASW aircraft for PN if in progress a similar twin engine Chinese aircraft(like CN-295) that can be used for coast guard missions as well.
