Got kotis in all over AJK and potwar Region, pay taxes only for a few years to secure a mortgage on a nice house and drive a Mercedes car class as a minicab bought with cash.

lol. The "poor cabbies" will own at least three houses, one to live in, two rented and another house back in Pk. Two cash outright, third on mortgage so they can deduct that against their income which will show they don't earn enough to make the minimum wage. That means the tax payer is giving them tax credits. Cabbies best friend is the accountant to fix the income.

Pak may have just extrapolated this practice to the "official" economic reports!!!! While some folks, whose half the year passes by talking ill of Pak (and, that too set by the Hindus as per their agenda), fall for it!!!!

It was like that in the 90s now they struggling realizing that they wasted money on house when they could have bought a business or invest in agriculture. Now they worry over relatives plotting theft against them. At least they invested what about sharifs and zadaris or generals with properties a broad.

Its been there for ages now, i dont know why people dont know about it. It quite a beautiful place to live actually. Even Local Transports and taxis dont know where Emaar and IST is even though they are right there on Expressway.
Maybe there isnt widespread advertisement like there is for DHA and Bahria....

Hey don't get fooled by this.
These are some zones for the elitest of the elite , among the disorder and choas of the rest of the city .
Capital is fine. But not even a single city including capital can even compare a metropolitan city like Istanbul or your capital Ankara or any even Asean metropolitan cities .
They are no different than bangladesh or India.
Housing in such gated comunities are so much expensive and an ordinary Pakistani cannot afford them.
Besides these housing societies don't represents the whole city.
Housing plots are all the rage here. Instead of building factories and providing business . Everyone want to invest in land. And the result is that the prices of even a tiny home is out of control.
Even in societies such as these a single investor may own several homes and rent them out.
Sadly In my city lahore , building a house for a middle class is Impossible.

In fact we have many such residential projects..the most famous is Bahria Town Project in many cities but there a lot more...Furthermore DHA and Cants. Actually these kind of homes are extremely expensive in the west and reserved for the multi-millionaires in USD or its equivalent. For example my home here in Sweden has 285 sq. m of the covered area (which is considered quite large by Swedish standards) is still a no match for the opulence of our family homes in Pakistan.
