Elon Musk Has Some Strong Opinions About Cyberpunk 2077
"I cried myself to sleep and haven't been able to function."

Even The New York Times is now reporting that long-awaited videogame Cyberpunk 2077 is plagued by bugs and crashes. In fact, the game’s developers officially apologized today and have offered to refund frustrated gamers.

Things got even stranger when Tesla CEO and cyberpunk genre enthusiast Elon Musk offered up his own two cents on the matter. It’s not uncharacteristic of the billionaire to wade into meaningless internet discourse, memes ablaze. Besides, if a CNET story is to be believed, the entrepreneur may have his own cameo in the game as well.

In reply to an official statement posted by the game’s official Twitter account, Musk posted a screenshot of a Reddit thread in which a downcast anonymous player dealt with their existential dread — a summary, albeit extreme, of the disappointment felt by many.

“I took a week off work to play this game and I quickly realized it’s not the game I’ve been thinking about every day for eight years,” the post in the screenshot read. “I cried myself to sleep and haven’t been able to function. I end up crying whenever I think about the game and I don’t even want to touch my PS4.”

Even Elon Musk couldn't secure a PS5.

Looks ok from afar and certainly came with plenty of hype, but far too many sporadic glitches and moments of publicly visible dysfunction.

Now, regarding the game...

Why people care what that vile South African thief thinks is beyond me.

I watched some videos. Looks like shit. Not gonna buy this. You can literally hijack cars in front of cops and drive 20m and lose them. Next gen open world my ***

I got Read Dead Redemption II for PC. Highly recommended. That game is a work of art. Don't waste your money on Cyberpunk. I also hate the soundtrack of cyberpunk. They call that shit music? It makes me want to bang my head against a wall until my sense of hearing is gone.

Playing on base PS4? There's where he went wrong. Not played it myself, I wait till the ps5 version is out.

Well you can do that with GTA. If realistic then your unlikely to lose cops.

GTA cops are more challenging unlike Cybercrap. NPCs aren’t innovative. You shoot a bullet proof vehicle and whoever inside gets out and ducks down for you to steal the car. Lots of crap like this. So why are you paying 50 to buy this? Might as well build a 3D model of a city and render it.

I remember you were spot on with that ghastly batty game the last of abby's testosterone injections. so I will avoid this crap like the plague.

Since Kojima has his own cameo in the game i'm more interested in what he has to say.

I will be buying it one of these days, have avoided most spoiler content for years and cant wait to dig in.
