Eid ul Fitr 2017: 4 Telefilms You Must Watch!

New clothes, new shoes and a great deal of hullabaloo is what Eid in Pakistan is all about! Going out, meeting relatives, dining and so much more.
However, what’s one to do while getting bored at the umpteenth relative’s home? Of course, TV has our back! They’re doing their best to keep us entertained this year!
A slew of Eid telefilms are making their way to our TV screens and we’ve picked out the best for you guys to watch!
Here they are:
1. Salma Ka Balma on ARY Digital
Madiha Imam & Ali Safina will star in this special telefilm, which has been produced by Big Bang Entertainment and Dr. Ali Kazmi. Salma Ka Balma has been written by Imran Shamshad and will be directed by Ali Hassan of Muqabil fame.
Salma Ka Balma will be a simple story of two cousins, who fall in love with each other and then struggle to tell their families about it.
“Salma Ka Balma, is going to be a very relatable, very simple story. I play Salma, and Ali Safina plays my balma.”
2. Appi Bhai on Hum TV
Sonya Hussyn is coming to our TV screens this Eid with a new telefilm on Hum TV. Featuring a stellar cast of Yasir Hussain, Saba Faisal and Waseem Abbas, Appi Bhai has been directed by Amjad Bhatti.
Appi Bhai is the story of a family with no brothers. Sonya plays the titular role of ‘Appi Bhai’ where she acts like a brother figure to her younger sisters.
“When you’re only sisters with no brother in our society, one of them is thought to be the bhai.” Sonya added.
3. Untitled Telefilm on ARY Zindagi
The hit couple of 2017, Urwa Hocane and Farhan Saeed are making a comeback to TV with a new telefilm this Eid!
While we don’t know the name or the story of this telefilm, we do know that it features an all-star cast of Saba Hamid, Asif Raza Mir, Usman Peerzada and Iffat Omar with Urwa and Farhan in lead roles.
The telefilm will be a comedy directed by Nadeem Baig of Jawaani Phir Nai Aani.
4. Hue Hum Jinke Liye Barbaad on GEO
Featuring Sara Bhatti & Aijaz Aslam, Hue Hum Jinke Liye Barbaad is a new telefilm that will be aired on Har Pal Geo. It also stars Humayun Ashraf, Rubina Ashraf and Behroze Sabzwari.
This Eid will see Sara Bhatti back on our TV screens after her divorce from Mikaal Zulfiqar earlier this year.
