Ahmed it is quite common in Indo Pak Border.Marine Area is not demarcated well and poor fishermen from both sides cross into each other territory.Just 2 weeks ago Pakistan released over 100 Indian Fisherman.

Poor fishermen...can't they even figure out if they are in the Indian waters or Pakistani waters ....don't they know that water on Pakistani side is more greenish and is more bluish on the Indian side...

Sarcasm aside, maybe the two governments should develop a better, fast-track process to deal with the fishermen issues...so that they don't languish in prison for long times.

AHMEDABAD: In what is one of the largest number of Indian fishermen to be released from Pakistan jails, authorities of Sindh province have decided to set free 442 of them over the next few days. Most of them are from villages along Gujarat's coastline. The decision was taken after the Pakistan supreme court ordered the interior ministry to justify the continued detention of Indian fishermen, who had completed their sentences. The fishermen are expected to return home by September 2.
