I think I might have been rightfully misunderstood.

We don't accept foreign bases on our land, the last time we did that was with soviets and we kicked them out in 1972 because they took opportunity of it and we had nothing good in return but there is always a chance with China if they can comply to our terms, then why not!

China is better for us than U.S or Russia, since China can offer us better tech transfer and with low prices and terms.

we don't want naval bases in other areas than mediterranean and red sea, cuz we don't look for expansion, just protection for our lands but if a naval base for china in Egypt would benefit us especially in the Tech transfer field then they are welcome and for free.

about Egypt and buying too much arms, that's because the Egyptian army owns and operates too much factories in the civil field including also agriculture farms and so on, so they have their own economy that generates money for them also there is the annual american military aid, 1.2 billion dollar for american equipments.

Egyptian army owns billions of dollars.
