Over 9m extra ballot papers printed for 2013 polls - Pakistan - DAWN.COM

Basically they're saying, it has happened before. Let's say a book has 100 ballots. What if the voters in voting area are 112? You can't make books to exact amount. You may have 111245 voters in one place, so you'll need 111300*2 (1 prov and 1 national votes) ballots.

Imran says this was the most rigged election of all time. I think this is far better than "fixed" election in the 80s, 90s and 10s. The only time we *ever* had cleanest elections were done when Bangladesh separated. Otherwise, all elections have been systemically rigged up till 2008.

. . .
Everyone thinks their way.

What I read seems absolutely true. You can't have books of 1xx amount of ballots. It has happened in past, will happen again.
im not thinking anything i provided a source

but the same ECP said they didnt then they say they did makes u think right

ECP isn't run by one person. The CEC is also absent technically.

@WishLivePak i always thought women had a thing for IK,plus why is it that no other leader gives a shit about gender equality?

.
ur misunderstanding it care to explain why the ECP initially denied printing of extra ballot papers
Didn't I say there is no CEC and ECP has many workers?

I didn't even know difference and thought extra ballots meant rigging. So people can think differently and hence will have different opinion. Which is why we need CEC, because he's one voice who speaks for eCP.

Like the cabinet can say many different things. There are negotiations, there are no negotiations between PTI and PML. But if nawaz says there are negotiations, it means there are.

The issue is not just that there was extra printing of extra ballot papers, but that this extra printing of ballot papers was selectively much greater in certain constituencies than in others. This is the sign of post-poll rigging, not merely the existence of extra ballots being printed.

There is no doubt at all that this last election was systematically rigged, as were previous elections. Pakistanis need to adopt a zero-tolerance attitude towards rigging -- starting with the fraud of the current incompetent organized crime syndicate, PML-N, masquerading as a government -- irrespective of whether people have got away with it or not. That is the key to a genuine democracy.

so what's the solution, not allow people to vote then? If it's a right to vote, you need to ensure enough ballots are available

Even if it was not "selectively," people can just take the ballets out to another polling station. Did we not see so many ballots lying on ground and whatnot?

first of u have a number of registered voters, you only need to print that amount of ballot paper sure some people may not show up (means some ballot papers not used) but how can more people vote when they are not even registered, i always thought ECP knew the number of voters who are going to show up or am i wrong?
