What's new

Early report: The F-35 dominated the dogfighting opposition in this year’s Red Flag exercises

And how is it relevant when almost all of the Israeli losses were to SAM batteries?
Does not make the MiG-21 a performer does it.
And no, the Pakistanis did not make single kill in that war. They arrived too late.
They managed to shoot down some attack aircraft from the 1950s and a Mirage III during the 67 war, but had to leave Jordania by bus, since Israel destroyed all their aircrafts.
Those kills were made in Hawker Hunters.
Then they got a few kills after the 73 war in MiG-21, that all.
You are mixing up wars.. and the point is the Egyptian pilots shot down almost a hundred Usraeli one generation more advanced US and European aircrafts with Mig-21..and my post was in response to someone who said he did not know of anytime an American fighter plane was downed by other warplanes.. that is how much it is relevant.. you totally missed the context just to try to defend Usrael again.. the emotions get the better of you most of the time when it comes to Usrael.. try to see the context before answering..

You are definitely mixing up wars. The Israeli had much better kill ratio in air to air combat during 1973 than they had in 1967, and in 1973 Pakistani pilots were too late.
You will not find any sources saying something else?

Why on earth was the Egyptians manning SAM batteries with pilots?
Maybe that is why Egyptian jet fighters hardly shot down more than a few Israeli jet fighters.
Were the MiGs flown by the inexperienced SAM operators?
In one case, two Phantoms attacked a flight of 28 MiGs, shot down seven and chased away the rest.

 There was no air war in 1967.. you are definitely confused..
You might learn a thing or two just from the air battle of Al Mansourah where more than 100 Usraeli jets fought about 20 Egyptian Mig-21.. with 19 kills for the Egyptians and 5 for the Usraelis.. and that was just one famous battle that went on for 54mn..that was a very long battle by any standards

You are very deep in denial if you claim there was no six day war.
The Air Battle of Al Mansourah is just yet an example of Egyptian fantasies.
Israelis claim they had 2 planes shot down that day, and official Israeli casualty lists does not contain any pilots for that day.

Egyptians have pictures of 18 Usraeli planes shot down during Al-Manssourah battle .. that is more than enough to be more credible that the others..and don't try to derail this thread too..

If you continue this venue, you risk beeing banned.
Pakistan is quite proud of one of their pilots shooting down a Mirage in 1967.
Are You claiming the Pakistanis are lying?

Egyptians certainly have pictures of Israeli planes shot down by SAM, rest is mostly fantasies.
