If you go to Dubai, especially the older areas of the city, you will literary feel like you are in India, with all the indian people and indian brands everywhere.I think 60% of Dubai's population is Indian.

My questions why did the arabs there embrace indians and their culture so much? today Dubai could easily be considered part of India. In fact many of the local arabs there have also adopted indian food as their own.

Generally all of UAE is like this, but especially Dubai

How come though? how do indians feel about this?

About the food

It is not the Arabs .... Indian (South Asian) food is enjoyed all over the world

As a keralite, majority of my folks are in UAE and other middle eastern countries. Easy, high paying, skilled and unskilled jobs are the main attractions.
For us,uae is still a foreign country,a country where lot of our own men are there.

I won't move to UAE because it's basically India 2.0... No sight of Arabs.. UAE should ban Indian migration before UAE becomes 99% Indian like what is USA fate with Mexicans...

You guys love the Arabs and are obsessed with them. You'll bend over backwards to placate them. But unfortunately they care two hoots for you! Why? Because Pakistanis pretend to be more “Islamic” than they are. Your mullahs think they know more about Islam than Arabs do, in spite of the fact that the Holy Koran was revealed more than 1400 years ago in Arabic, not on 14 August 1947 and not in Urdu!

Arabs are racist to the core. They have a built-in superiority complex about themselves. White-skinned Europeans and Americans, as well as Arabs from elite countries in the Middle East, are preferred in terms of employment and good treatment, in general. South Asians especially Pakistanis don't count! They get the 'slave treatment'.

And you say you miss the sight of Arabs? :cheesy: Seriously? How far down the rabbit hole will you guys go to appease the self styled race of 'superior Muslims' who care a fig for you? Whither self respect?

Most arabs over there are big followers of bollywood also, Dubai is second home for bollywood and bollywood stars:

Actually I don't...
It's a nice sight though to see the natives... I don't wanna see Indians everywhere...

dubai's oldest hindu temple is located just beside the oldest mosque in the city there, one really good thing about dubai is the tolerance between hindus and muslims there

You'll do a big favor to UAE, or perhaps any other country in this world by staying in your own country.

You'll do a bigger favour to the world if you do the same :omghaha:

That's because UAE is a civilized country... Could a mosque even survive by a temple in so called "secular india" ?

Anyway lets get to the facts. Indians in UAE 1.75m & Pakistanis 1.2m. Indians make 30% population and Pakistanis maybe 25%? Anyway it doesnt matter since they stay foreigners for generations. Because i dont think UAE give nationality to non-natives?

Throughout India you can see mosques and hindu temples clustered together. Since moving to Christianity, i have begun to notice that there are many churches and temples clustered together as well. Although, not nearly as much as mosques.
