Hi..I've been selected for 6 months military training in PMA and going to report on 19th May 2011 (ICTO). I've been selected via DSSC (Direct Short Service Commission). I've some unanswered questions though.

1. Are officers recruited via DSSC required to leave the job after certain years (i.e, 7 years as mentioned in bond)

2. At what age or rank do you get an independent house where you can move your family easily? i.e, I'll be joining as Captain and want my parents to live with me.

3. Once inside PMA, are we given option to convert to SSG or Longies? Someone said you can switch your course.

4. There is a risk of physical injuries in PMA. If someone gets a lethal injury, is he kicked off or given pension etc?

5. On what ranks do most Technical Staff goes? Like do most of 'em get retired on Lt. Col rank?

I've searched this forum but didn't find answers to these questions. Will somebody more experienced please help me out.
