3.7 Fukin caror is nothing for such research projects and such projects fail.
You end up spending the money on research without result as you find out many flaws .
thats called research.
Summoning naming and shaming a national hero is treacherous step by the holy cows of judiciary.

One can waste money just because he helped making a missile?

"COPIED FROM WIKI"

In 2013, Mubarakmand assisted provincial government of Balochistan on extracting minerals.[33] Mubarakmand heavily lobbied for the implementation of the Thar coal project initiated by the provincial government of Sindh despite strong public criticism by dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan, which described as "intellectual dishonesty".[32] In 2015, a breakthrough in the Thar coal project was reported by the media reports regarding this project.[5]

yeah,
334,480 USD in todays money for developing a stent is peanuts.
If you listen to the guys interviews he has complained multiple times about government not issuing funds for his research projects or additional funds not issued when required and the whole research project falling apart.
India made their missile man their president.
We insult them and drag them in courts.

As I said, missile man doesn't make him the most honest man. Azaad was an extraordinary personality, don't even compare him with this guy. Regardless the fact that he was an Indian. Indians were lucky to have him.

That's where I would say enough is enough. The courts should stay in their limits.
37 million PKRs is a joke. He needs a team of 2-3 scientists at least, a lab / facility and money to run it. That can easily be USD 5-10 million project for 2-3 years. R&D requires investment.
We spent USD 12+ million on developing next gen. security cameras without any need to develop new facilities or team. The same would have cost us around USD 6-7 million we carried out in Pakistan. Courts should not drag scientists like this...... the law graduates cannot understand the abc of science and research. Billions of dollars are spent in R&D every year in the west without any tangible results....that's the cost of science but once it delivers, you can recover the costs and earn profit. This is an insult to a scientist. If you drag them into the courts, their focus is shattered. These worthless judges can't provide justice to the nation and now they are trying to destroy the little scientific development we have.... worthless :hitwall::hitwall::hitwall::hitwall::hitwall::hitwall::hitwall::hitwall::hitwall::hitwall:

He is seasoned scientist and in that case he should stop making tall claims and refuse to expect meager money to develop things. Except from missiles he fails to deliver anything.

Well I thought you're some mature person but I was wrong. You just acted like the other kiddos at PDF. Mind you language and learn to talk with facts even if you differ from my opinion.

These worthless judges can't provide justice to the nation and now they are trying to destroy the little scientific development we have.... worthless :hitwall::hitwall::hitwall::hitwall::hitwall::hitwall::hitwall::hitwall::hitwall::hitwall:

These worthless judges disqualified NS, these worthless judges made efforts to expose Rao Anwar, these worthless judges sent Shahrukh Jatoi behind the bars again. What are you man?

Thats the problem. When policy maker makes policies just after watching tv, then this happens. No background check, no specialization check, and from Tahr-coal to heart Stents projects goes to Pakistani Einstein, Dr Samar Mubarak Mand. Believe me or not, many such feasibility assessors and fund issuers are MA in English or Journalism. Kia chalega yeh mulk. Sisakti rahygi makhlok e khuda, raaj rahay ga gidhon ka.

Yeah... you are being the character advocate of Azaad as if you were "Langotiyaa yaar" of Indian missile man or he was your neighbor?
Sammar Mubarakmand is also a great Patriot and an honest man.

Rubbish...
He took funds for research work project. For which his role was managerial.
He hired appropriately qualified personnel from his well known colleagues and elsewhere.
If someone knows the basic structure of research and development work, that person can arrange R&D project in any field.
You should watch his interviews on Thar coal. He told the whole story. The project was stalled due to lack of funding.

.
It takes time. Like we have been sending HEC scholars since 2004 but still not that much output in terms of inventions and patents.
Dr Samar can supervise any science related project as he knows method of R&D. Yes one subject related supervisor should be there for consultation and guidance.
If Dr was reinventing the wheel as no foreign support in this area was there, so there was a 50-50 chance..
My friend works there. He told me they were following a Chinese well design. They ordered the compressor according to that but theoretical calculation were failed as those compressor couldn't generate enough pressure.

however, when he claims on TV, not all can interpret like that. If a issue is politicized then it has its repercussion

I have immense respect for Dr Samar for giving us parity in WMD with Gangadesh, however in regards to coal the rest of the world seems to be moving away from this due to the environmental effects, I believe in order to meet our growing needs we should invest heavily in the development of more efficient solar cells and longer lasting batteries, the aim should be to achieve this at an affordable cost, I firmly believe if allocated adequate funding NUST, COMSAT,,,GIKI:agree::agree::agree::agree::agree::agree: could achieve these objectives as well as if not better than any other leading institution in the world.Kudos Gents
