Bro, what makes you think so? though I know some elements within the establishment have been very active however PM IK has not been willing. Furthermore, letting him go will have dire consequences for Pakistan since he is involved in the money laundering and FATF's sword is still hanging above state's head.

If Nawaz, his family and associates return all the money back to the state, including the foreign assets. Then Nawaz can be released, him, his family and associates stripped of Pakistani citizenship and declared "Persona Non Grata" permanently!! As for zardari, his family & associates, well lock'em up in the bottom of the pit, prison and don't let them out until they die. If zardari returns all the money, including off-shore assets, then he can rot in prison for life, otherwise, hang the dog in public.

Oh and if Nawaz or his family or associates try to meddle in Pakistan's affairs after being expelled. Then Pakistan will extradite them from the country they were allowed to leave to on pre-set agreement. If they try to evade extradition, then they're marked for hit-squads, shoot-to-kill, on the spot.

Riz reality is that the state is bigger than the people, and not everything is controlled from the top of the political pyramid.

IK came into power much later when prosecution of Nawaz was already underway. So the state which had put Nawaz behind the bar has the power to bring him out. Nawaz and the family always had the opportunity to flee by paying the price - which I think under this upcoming dharna has come down and has become acceptable to Nawaz family.

I am no inside, I am just sharing what I think is the case.

If NS dies - I guarantee this government will go soon after and the next PM of Pakistan will be Maryam.

Just look at BBs death and who we had as head of the state after.

The government needs to be very careful. Dont strike a deal (if only on principal) but ensure that NS gets the best treatment possible so:

1) he stays in good health and not become a martyr.

2) even if something happens to him, no one can blame the government.

Be very very careful. The Bhuttos are a prime example of what happens when a high profile politician like them dies.

I would question his personal doctor who has been prescribing medicines for him.

In absence of any medical issues which could have resulted in drops in level the only plausible explanation would be the medicine he has been consuming.
