You'd be mistaken if you think Koreans are fond of the Chinese. The moment DPRK reunites with ROK they'd start shouting the same ridiculous anti-chinese slogans as they do now in ROK.

I am not one to generalize but I can't avoid noticing that Koreans are some of the most angry people on this planet. There's a term for it here in Canada. "K-rage"

Sir maybe you don't know but Chinese contributions during the Korean War are all but forgotten in North Korea. When China established relations with North Korea they even smashed the tombs of Mao AnYing and many PVAs martyred in Korea.

Let me put it this way. Of China's so called allies so far only Pakistan has stood besides China thick and thin. Countries like North Korea are like wolves that could never truly be tamed. If you let your guard down they are going to bite the hand that feeds it.

What about the absence of Chinese involvement in the North Korean textbooks? If you read them you'd think that Kim Il Sung won the war single handedly. It is just like how Vietnam prefers to remember the 1979 War but choose to ignore our assistance during the Vietnam War.
