ITAR-TASS : DPRK launches 3 short-range ballistic missiles

SEOUL, January 13 (Itar-Tass) —— North Korea has launched three KN-02 short-range ballistic
missiles, a representative of the South Korean Defense Ministry said on Friday on conditions of anonymity. Their radius of action amounts to about 120 kilometers.
According to the available information, the given launch, which was made on Wednesday, is a part of tests of military technologies of North Korea.
Last time the DPRK made such tests on December 19 - - on the day when official Pyongyang announced the death of Leader Kim Jong Il.

This test shows North Korea is at a high state of readiness. There is a high chance South Korea would try some provocation to test North Korea's new leader.

Remember how South Korea ordered those Patriot missiles from Germany? It is not a mere coincidence that North Korea is testing ballistic missiles in particular.

Perhaps South Korea is going to do a provocation in the Yellow Sea against North Korea's coast. Something that is serious enough to possibly warrant a short-range missile barrage from North Korea.
