Was Pakistan swimming in hundreds of billions before? Was it not at the mercy of IMF loans and a beggar when IK came to power? Can u or me or even the brightest/most clever person on earth...get out from under massive loan with an empty treasury in 3-4 years(this is not even taking into account covid outbreak and the resulting economic effects)?

Anyone(from any party) would've been forced to do the same(as in run to IMF for a bailout)...so this whole line of criticism is unfair. The only fault here is that prior to being elected IK made tall claims like kicking out IMF and delivering an economic miracle...talk is definitely cheap...but reality would've been the same for IK or any other.
