Butchers selling Haram meat of dead donkeys, dogs, rats etc to innocent buyers. They are making ghee, oil etc from the fat of road kills , donkeys, dogs, rats , anything they can find. living or dead doesnt matter. They use every part of an animal meat, skin, bones, intestines, horns, hooves, etc etc.

They sell ghee or oil to poor unsuspecting buyers including the restaurent owners. Not only they are playing with people's religous sentiments they are also playing with thier health.

Be Vegetarian, solve all problems !!

^^ U still have to buy the Ghee or Vanaspati, which by all means is adulterated according to the report by MR. X
Even if you are a Vegetarian, ther is the aspect of Ground Tamarind seeds in Tea powder. Sugared Water in Honey etc.

If you have any idea of how Asafoetida is made in the companies, you would not want to even try it. By the way, Sugar is whitened using Animal Charcoal. Not sure if it comes under Halal stuff ! ( Genuine doubt here)

Goto a vegetable market early in the morning and Check how Potatoes are being cleaned. Truth is adulteration of food and associated products is rampant in our countries. One must have the means to buy the costly super market items,(which one may safely(?!) assume that it wont be as the same quality as the resT)..

I only eat grilled items outside, not from street stalls but from proper food outlet's.

I suffered food poisioning some year's back, since that day i am very cousious what i eat out side.

It depends upon from where you are going to buy and eat stuff.
If you are eating outside from standardized maker's and location then there is no problem

you will find this kind of practice only in the stone age and sure its pakistan where you can expect anything.

Bismillah karke kha jao. I avoid katakat, but Lahore's Bhaiyyay ke kabab, Phajjay ke Paye, Afghani Tikkay... Who can resist?

Pakistan main rehne walon ko lakkar pathar sab hazam hojata hai.

But that said, its probably adviseable to be more scrutinizing about food your eat outside after this report goes more for the restaurant owners.

masla to ye bhi hai naa ke kahi woh ghar main bhi use naa hota ho? i mean koi aam ghee jo hum daily use karte hai gharon main us main bhi kuch aisi milawat naa hoe ho

This is not common practice of most of us few black sheep do this all so please do not make it our identity and don’t exploit these seldom events as there was an incident of Mukhtaran Mai it was given hype as if all the women in Pakistan were suffering at last the President of the country had to take action

Most of the companies in Pakistan now are ISO CERTIFIED ok
