Such is the callousness of the two main parties that they have nothing but accusations against each other. The ruling party, the thekaydaar Metro party, says its not their mandate. The thug party, the PPP, says such deaths have happened in previous govts too so nothing is new for them.

The MQM. What can be said about them. In order to hide their murders, they were about to enter into another marriage with PPP, which is trying to hide its loot.

With this type of leadership, where we are heading is hell. The Karachi heat wave might be an indication of how that hell will feel like.

Even the "Terrorists" MQM established some heatstroke treatement centres around the city, so did the army. He could have at least ask PTI's Karachi leaders to establish some relief camps for the people. Merely statements doesn't make one the national leader.

Met didn't see this coming, no one did. Karachi has a historically had a mild climate and sea breeze to bank upon. Both of them were absent on the weekend.The high humidity made 44 feel like 47-48. So the unprecedented death toll occurred because the Karachiets are not used to such weather. For example, the death toll is comparatively negligible up country despite having higher temperatures because the humidity there is far far less than Karachi.

So you are saying you are good under Nawaz. The next turn will be PPP's if we go by muk-muka between the two corrupt party. Whereas MQM is a constant disease in Karachi regardless.

If there is a prediction of extreme weather, governments make arrangements. Of course heat wave cant be averted by the govt. But it can take measures like inform public how to avoid heat stroke.

But then, they cant even provide electricity and security. Its laughable to even expect them to be so caring.

Visit or no visit, there is not even a statement of concern or grief. The govt spokesman said in parliament its not their mandate!!!
