Wow. My hometown Edirne housed more tourists than Izmir. Edirne is a beautiful little city though. I love it! Selimiye mosque is gorgeous.

Turkish-Russian marriages make new 'melez' generation

Saturday, July 12, 2008

Approximately 10,800 Russian women who live in the Turkish
Mediterranean city of Antalya are married to Turkish men, and most of
these brides are university graduates, professionals and
entrepreneurs. Their children make up a new generation of 4,000
Russian-Turkish 'melez,' or mixed, kids -- many of whom will enter
primary school this year

.
I have visited Istanbul so far....only....:frown:

But would like to visit the Mediterranean part next time.....:)

It is my dream to visit Konya and say Fathiha at Maulana Rumi's Mausoleum. Rumi is my guide and I love Rumi's writings.

Also, I would love to Whirl with the Dervishes.

Salam to my Turkish Brothers and Sisters.

.
been to Konya many times, I guess seeing the world is what's left for me to do :)

Beysehir to be more specific... :)

Konya isn't a big tourist attraction though... i really would like to see them get more.

Pfff, Man most Turks here live in beauthifull and Cultural Cities while i live in crappy Karaman. No Sea,No Big Mall, No Tourisme and Only one small pool. Only good thing about it is its the Birthplace of the Turkish Language.

.
Kayseri is a beautiful example of how Islam and high living quality can coexist. We don't have oil or other natural resources but smart business men. And in my honest opinion it is one of the best cities in Turkey
