The history of the area shows that money given was never used by the local officials and stolen in corruption. The FC will do development like the way army did in FATA.

Would you mind quoting the sources claiming money went to corruption by the political leadership? Bureaucracy is part of federal government.

FC doesnt have good reputation among the people. The earlier the charge is given back to police , the better it is. Development is not just building few buildings, even in FATA development will start once civil government is in charge. If just pumping money solved problem Afghanistan today would have been a developed country.

If you want to marginalize the extremist element , empower the one who are willing to work by funding them.

To some of the locals the FC gives an image to them that they are in fact occupied.

Under the current gov. we have the perfect chance to bring in pro-government Baloch levies and organize them into an official force to supplant and eventually replace the FC in certain areas in necessary.
