Naureen Leghari a student who joined Daesh for 'Khilafat' willingly (not kidnapped) was inspired by content she came across via social media. A footage confession released states she was meant to be a suicide bomber in an attempted attack against Christian community during Easter. A description of recieving suicide vests, grenades, guns and bullets from terrorist handlers. It is however to astonishing surprise that she's been released and no conviction, accountability or atleast somewhat form of prosecution has taken place.
Moving on to Asia Bibi, a mother of 5 who was accused of Blasphemy without evidence was prosecuted and imprisoned formally before charged. She also denies making any derogatory statements.
One comes to a conclusion both are equivalent of the same offence in terms of offending a belief system, however one specifically endangered lives of civilians, was caught on time and the other was put behind bars based on mere words which is yet to be proven.
If Asia Bibi can be put behind the shackles for an 'offence' which is not proven, why isn't Naureen Leghari on trial for attempted harm/murder of Christian civilians during their festive occasion? No form of blasphemy there? Should she not be trailed under the law then?
This is a perversion of justice and wrong. If these people are really following laws of 'Faith' then one is being completely Just (which obviously isn't the case here). A horrible and flawed outcome.
