Diamer-Bhasha : Pakistani diaspora excited to donate for dams

Donated 150$ that is all i could afford for now. To be honest for most people living abroad it is not easy at all to donate 1000$.

Thanks but no need to worry man.

We need to help as much as we can even if its Rs 10 in a year.

A huge surge in the amount of money donated into the Dam.

So why did not the dictators General Zia and General Musharraf also fail to build any more dams despite having absolute power for long periods of time after 1969? Why blame democracy alone?

mirani dam, mangla dam upraising, tarbela power house upgradation, and numerous other mini dams were started under musharraf

+ renewable energy projects like wind ( cuurently, 1200 MW is being generated by wind )

No major dams in your list, which is what are needed for water storage. Zero.

The failure is collective, and applies equally to ALL governments and dictatorships. That is the point. The failure is national. It is good to see some action towards addressing this massive issue that is only growing worse the longer a solution is delayed, but it remains to be seen if any effective solution will be implemented.
