Quetta: The Defence Housing Authority (DHA) has launched its first residential project in Quetta, according to a publication. With this announcement, the authority has now invited the public to apply for residential, commercial and farmhouse plots on a four-year payment plan.
The application forms are available for download on DHA Quetta’s official website: www.dhaquetta.org. As per the forms, the details on plots on offer are as follows:
The publication also indicates that a ballot to determine the successful applicants for these plots will be conducted soon. Zameen.com has learned from its reliable sources that the ballot will be conducted in the last week of December.

The processing fee or the ballot fee set for these plots is also quite reasonable and varies according to the plot size and type. Please note that this amount is non-refundable. Here is the payment plan shared by the DHA Quetta management:
Successful applicants will be determined after the ballot has been conducted. Once their status has been confirmed, they will be required to submit their first instalment within 30 days of the ballot and the second instalment within 60 days of the ballot. Furthermore, the application form also states that the mentioned prices of plots on offer are exclusive of all federal, provincial and local taxes that will be applicable as per the law. The DHA Quetta administration will also inform the plot owners of the development charges applicable on their property later.

The applicants can submit their duly filled forms and deposit slips for the processing fee at all branches of Askari Bank Ltd, Habib Bank Ltd, United Bank Ltd, Bank Alfalah Ltd, Allied Bank Ltd and also through TCS.
In the Terms and Conditions section of the application form, DHA Quetta has specifically mentioned that those interested to apply for 1-kanal or bigger residential plots (farmhouses included) and all commercial plots must be on the Active Taxpayers List maintained by the Federal Board of Revenue.
