Demolish or Burn Lal Masjid And Jamia Hafsa - Altaf Hussain

It states that the Quran is complete, nothing was left out, but @karakoram says Hadiths and Sunnahs are necessary. That suggests that the Quran is incomplete, and that's a contradiction that can only be solved by holding the Quran as most important or the hadiths and Sunnahs as most important.

That verse has been completely taken out of context; its talking about 'signs to affirm monotheism' as is evidenced by the entirety of that Koranic chapter. The entire chapter is talking about 'signs' being sent to all communities to affirm that there is only One God.

Even the previous verse and the succeeding verse is talking about this theme : 37 They also say, ‘Why has no sign been sent down to him from his Lord?’ Say, ‘God certainly has the power to send down a sign,’though most of them do not know: 38 all the creatures that crawl on the earth and those that fly with their wings are communities like yourselves. We have missed nothing out of the Record – – in the end they will be gathered to their Lord. 39 Those who reject Our signs are deaf, dumb, and in total darkness. God leaves whoever He will to stray, and sets whoever He will on a straight path.

Context is King; the verse isn't talking about everything being included in the Koran but that all the signs to affirm monotheism are included in the Koran. And have also been given to communities before you.

@jamahir
jamahir, bro I always enjoy reading your posts. But this time I would urge you to stop there because me, you or anyone is not ALL-knowing and also because you are going to start a debate which unfortunately has no end. Being receptive and understanding is the key t the door of knowledge.

My take is - and again this is my take only - I cannot bypass or supersede the Messenger who ultimately introduced me to the sacred knowledge, i.e., Kitab. He is the teacher who taught me about God otherwise I had no knowledge of God. Who knows the oneness of God more than iblees apart from the prophets? But he rejects the messenger and wandering to date. Same goes with the relationship of hadiths and Quran, i.e., Messenger and God. That's all, I hope you got my point which in no way should be sought as enforcing my views.

I can not get the mentality of our nation. You fix things not burn them down. The building did not do anything wrong the cleric did. Also the University can be reformed with teachers. The solution is supposed to be more then burn it down or demolish it. Bring a proper religious cleric in Lal mosque and look at the change.

You beat me to it. The mosque itself should not be burnt or demolished; rather converted into an institution of education - perhaps even a madrassah, one that doesn't teach it's students hate. To do that, we'll need to drive out it's current occupants!

See, that's why I asked because I wasn't sure. :(

I can't believe i am saying this.. But for once i agree with the Don aka uncle Alfaf. The teaching and mind set of LaaL mosque is the true enemy of our religion and country. Every action should be taken to take them out, what are we waiting for? another massacre to take place, for Pakistani's to realize these animals are not what these people claim they are. Need to eradicate the problem and only way of doing it is by taking out these breeding grounds.

Burning mosques is not the solution to this problem. It's the leaders inside and people outside who turn a blind eye to the activities inside. This shemale molvI should have been taken care of long time ago. Why was he even allowed to return in the first place after what happened.

Mr Altaf Hussain has said in his speech delivered today on 19th December 2014 in Karachi to a rally of over million people gathered at Tibet Centre Karachi, Pakistan who were protesting against the brutal killing of innocents in Peshawar (KPK), Pakistan. In his speech, he condemned the brutal killing of innocent children, teachers and other staff members working in Army Public School Peshawar in (KPK), Pakistan.

He also demanded to the Government of Pakistan either to demolish to zero ground or burn down Lal Masjid (Red Mosque) situated in Islamabad just in front of the Central office of ISI (Inter-Services Intelligence) of Pakistan Army.

The religious cleric head of Lal Masjid (Red Mosque), Mr. Maulana Abdul Aziz who publicly appreciated on TV and Press that the killings of 141 innocents students (boys and girls), teachers and burning of principle Mrs. Tahira Kazi and other teachers and staff members by armed Taliban Attackers was a reaction of drone attacks conducted by USA and ongoing military operation by Pakistan Armed Force against Al Qaida, Taliban Headquarters and their hideouts.

Mr. Maulana Abdul Aziz is also a head of Hafsa University of Girls Taliban who recently declared themselves as the member of Daesh organization (ISIS) and condoned and justified the killings of innocents boys and girls by Taliban and Daesh (ISIS) commandos.

Go Altaf bhai go. But don't forget this,

I am not in favour of demolishing or burning Jamia Hafza or Lal Masjid but this Maulana Aziz must be trial and punished alongside his aides. Lal Masjid should be governed by a proper system like a school and its each and every movement must be recorded

Masjid ul dirar was demolished and burnt by our beloved prophet because of these types of fitna.altaf hussain is rite here.

I would say burn it when the ba$tards are inside, a fitting reply to TTP supporters.
Repossess it otherwise

The Mosque building is not the problem here , the problem is how Abdul Aziz is using it to instigate people , bringing down the building is a highly stupid suggestion.

Person of altaf's catagory, pervez musharraf, is responsible for rise of taliban and baloch insurgency.
