yes! they were two mirages who successfully fired their exocet anti-ship missiles on USS Abraham Lincoln. It was decades ago. Now our weapons and tactics are more advanced.

Are you sure? Back in the 90s we had falcons in just two squadrons, 9 and 11. Unless i am missing somthing

We had them in 14 squadron too untill early 2000. Due to crashes 14 squadron F16 were absorbed in 9 & 11 and 14 squadron was warned with F7PG.

It was more due to the embargo as for maintenance 14 sqn F-16s would be flown to Sargodha for overnight stays before returning them back to Kamra. And 14 sqn converted to F-7Ps, not the F-7PGs. On a side note, almost everyone who flew F-16s out of Kamra say they had a great time (including 2 Turkish exchange pilots).
