First debut flight in the country's skies to the "Eitan" UAV (Heron TP), in the dedicated configuration created for the German Ministry of Defense and according to its needs. Air and Airbus, formulated in a unique and creative layout and signed in June 2018. It includes the lease of a number of solid UAVs, training and maintenance services. The training of German crews is carried out by the Israeli Air Force at one of its bases in the center of the country.
The German Heron TP UAV is a multi-mission aircraft with a long stay capability for medium altitude and carrying a variety of payloads. It is based on the Israeli "Eitan" UAV, which is in operational service in the Air Force. The UAV in its German configuration is manufactured in record time and incorporates advanced Israeli technologies.
The head of the Mapat UAVs in the Ministry of Defense, Col. (Res.) H: "In the name of the State of Israel. Despite the complex challenges of the program, to which the Corona challenges have been added, we are meeting the schedules. All thanks to the joint and intensive work between many factors in the defense systems of Germany and Israel."
