That would mean majority of indian popation want war with pakistan?? Hence modi is doing better now? In election?
Oh, now I get what you mean.
No, but he may claw back a part of what he was losing.
Out of that 31%, 13% were hard core Hindutva.
14% were YUPPIES, who were disappointed with the UPA II and were disgusted by the miasma of corruption (turns out later most of it was cleverly manipulated and was only headline management).
4% were new voters, unsure of their grounds, who thought perhaps the smart thing to do was vote for a change.
Now that 4% probably is 2 or even 0. The 14% has been shocked by the sheer lack of performance (if Nilgiri reads this, he'll book a ticket just to strangle me!). It may be reduced, probably 4,5%.
So he was 13+14+4 = 31.
Now he is 13+10+2 = 25%.
With the suicide bombing, this changed dramatically. With Bagalkot, it climbed again (Indians wanted a response, but not war). With Wg Cdr Abhinandan, the mood turned very nasty, and the number dropped. Now it's probably 31%; we will have to wait and see how and where it will finally settle, in the next two weeks.
@jbgt90 (tomorrow morning)
Please see post #47. What do you think will be the settling point after these rapid swings?
