As you and many other countries who fought and are still fighting against terrorism, the suicide bombing by cars and trucks are one of the most devastating attacks carried out by terrorists. Even if they can't target army headquarters because of checkpoints and high precautions they attack points like civilian areas and less defended police stations. So how can a truck loaded with explosives can be detected and stopped much before it reaches its target.
You know terrorists can't use and modify complex semiconductor circuits. Maybe a device can be installed inside trucks to shut them down immediately if it is considered as a threat. At checkpoints a small electronic device having a motion sensor sends a randomly changing encoded password by wireless to the device inside the vehicle which decodes it and sends it back to the electronic device outside so that you know the vehicle carries the device and if it does not carry the vehicle will again be detected,photographed long before it reaches its target. If the device is taken outside the vehicle mechanically by the terrorists it needs to shut itself down permanantly to not to be installed inside other vehicles by terrorists or some other place of the vehicle where it won't shut down the vehicle when the signal is given. If the vehicle has the shut down device with a given password it will continiously broadcast this password to alert the police for example and if the password is sent the second time by the police who suspects suicide terrorist attack, the truck shuts down without firepower.
It was just a quick idea and I don't know if it has flaws but we need to think of ways to stop these so lets make some brainstorming together.
