Coronavirus outbreak: Qatar bans arrivals from Bangladesh, 13 countries

The country reported three more cases of the virus, bringing the total there to 15

Qatar has temporarily barred travelers from Bangladesh and 13 other countries from March 9 as a precaution against the rapidly spreading coronavirus.

Its government announced on Sunday.

The other countries which the ban covers are China, Egypt, India, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Syria and Thailand.

Qatar Airways had already suspended flights to and from Italy.

Qatar reported three more cases of the virus on Sunday, bringing the total there to 15.

Should ban the ones from the US, Canada, the UK, France, Spain, Germany and a fair few other countries as well. All of them have more confirmed cases than Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal. In fact Qatar itself has more than these three.
