Corona Lockdown: Share your personal experience

I will start.

I was gleeful about getting to witness the once-in-a-century/half-century event of real/pseudo semi-apocalypse. I had decided to roam the deserted city. But the police were the kebab mein haddi. Police played the spoilsport. Police are stationed at strategic points like road junctions, commercial centres, bus stations, town squares, gardens, parks etc. My house is located in the interiors of a residential area. Hence less chances of police poking their nose. Hope this area would be worth exploring tomorrow.

Since all restaurants are closed, it has given me gas trouble due to skipping many breakfasts and lunches. This gas pain isn't going away on it's own as it usually does. Popped a pill. Hope it resolves the gas.

Meanwhile, word has got around that this pandemic is fake and people are saying that the concerned authorities are lying/exaggerating.

Company required everybody to work from home starting March 9th. Been home since March 2nd. Did the food hoarding stocking in February. Got a 28" 4K monitor, fiber connection...I'm all set. In a house on a quiet street so I don't have to worry about idiots coughing on elevator buttons or other people's germs in the ventilation system.

Should have returned home but here I'm unable to leave Dehradun; hoarded 3 weeks worth of supplies,bc here you don't want to go outside too often among ignorant people that have no sense of social distancing and wears handkerchief in the name of mask, need to protect my remaining few KF94s for future airport transits and emergencies.

Got Geralt to reach lvl 27 from lvl 20 in witcher 3 .That's been my only achievement so far, need to be productive from tomorrow.

I m working from home (Bangalore) past 21 days, I had purchased all necessary house hold items on 6th march ( for 60 days in a advanced) and including potato & onion ( 10-10 kg) now only I need to buy daily items -milk, vegetables etc...

Only I feel bad that I didn't plan well otherwise I had gone to my native place for holiday and I was with my parents

What about exploration? Not the public places but some nearby areas?

No, I do not ho outside from my house.
I go only to get milk and veg, early in the morning then stay in home only. Also, go for a small walk within my society in the late evening..

It is a time for complete isolation to save our family and others (society).

Working.

Can't even ask for a raise out of guilty conscience but that never stopped me before

Still working. Driving to work and back. Many cars on the road, but traffic a fraction of what it used to be, getting to work in no time! :-)

Struggled to buy bread, milk and eggs ( gave up on toilet paper!). Finally found bread and milk in a small local shop. Yesterday found plenty of eggs in one small shop, feeling guilty (hoarding) but bought two big boxes.

Rumours of work closing, but nothing definite. Not looking forward to sitting at home for weeks :cray:. Police not stopping anyone in my area from walking around, but I have heard stories of police at petrol stations questioning drivers on the reason for their journey.

Working as usual. Busier than ever before. I'm working in the Healthcare industry ( Clinical Engineering).

Hi, since I am a key worker I cannot work from home, so I leave home just to get to work and then I come back at night, the roads are empty and very less traffic, for a change I dont get late. After a few days I go to supermarket for milk, eggs etc. Being home is depressing, staring at the 4 walls all day along.

Its very difficult to buy flour(aata) and rice as all asians stocked up their houses, then the Asian shop keepers illegally raised their prices. Must be difficult for those with less money.

Regarding the virus, there are different theories going around, it originated in China with the bats, it originated in China in the lab, it was released on purpose by the western agencies, its 5g network. I believe anything is possible, I spoke to many people with the symptoms, many healthy people were getting pneumonia, something to think about, plus getting migraines and fever is very common. Its suspicious and seems like the virus mutation is highly possible.
