Cool Trick For Zeroing a Scope

.
It helps if you have a good pair of binoculars, spotting scopes, or monoculars when you're trying to zero in at a 100 yards. Your regular optic may not provide enough magnification to see well enough your hit marks te further away you shoot.

. .
so simple. I use it next time

I saw this somewhere else but I've never used it. I was just at the range today but my rifle was real close to zero already. After you fire that first shot you need to keep your rifle as still as possible. A good gun rest helps a lot.:sniper:

My friend didn't come through with the thicker plate, so I shot up the one I had some more.

Nice work! I wish I was not using bullets that cost me 1.50 each! Dang but I as exchanging emails with Jeff Homan directly over several questions when I got by Black Hills ammo initially!

Just for punching holes in paper, I'd use regular (cheap) stuff. :sniper:

I'm getting an Aimpoint patrol scope soon, can't wait to get it and zero it in at 100 yards. They are easy to zero and do a really good job at holding a zero.
