Combine Lal masjid and terrorist attack threads into one?

We have had several terrorist attacks (IMO) occur in Pakistan over the last week or so. There are four or five different threads on these. The underlying issues are probably the same and I was wondering if the MODS could combine them into one. It would help focus the discussion, since members end up making the same comments, or advocating the same POV on multiple threads.
Just a suggestion. What do you guys think?
